VOLUNTEER AT PARKVIEW
If you could spend your time doing something that would bring joy to yourself and to others, would you do it ? Do you long to find a way to teach your children compassion and service for others so they can experience the happiness that comes from working on behalf of the Lord? Consider sharing your faith, time and talents with the residents at Parkview Village.
Parkview Village is a senior living community located in Odon, IN. They provide supportive living services so folks may live as independently as possible for as long as possible. They need your help enriching the lives of the people that live there.
Don’t worry about planning something to do, many seniors just enjoy visiting or praying together. Your children are encouraged to come with you, as there is nothing better than listening to the laughter of children. A simple smile brings so much joy. If you are unable to share your time, please consider donating items of need like: greeting cards, note pads, holiday decorations, yarn, sewing materials, and quilt batting or small bottles of toiletries.
Please, speak with the members of your prayer group or church organization and prayerfully consider a service project at Parkview Village. The people living at Parkview Village could use your help planting and caring for the garden this spring and summer. We could also use your help planting the flower beds and landscaping around the grounds.
The Lord calls us to share what he has given and promises to reward us with abundance. Thank you for taking the time to consider sharing your talents with the residents at Parkview Village. Please continue to pray for Parkview Village – it’s residents and our staff, for it is with the Lord’s guidance and strength that we can continue to serve Him.
